New Life Church
The New Life Church in Colorado Springs is a charismatic evangelical megachurch that was founded by Ted Haggard in 1984 and quickly gained around 14,000 followers. Colorado Shakespeare Festival in Boulder
The Colorado Shakespeare Festival is held every summer by the University of Colorado at Boulder in its Mary Rippon Theater. It began in 1944 when the theater performed a play by Shakespeare every summer. 14 years later, it became the annual festival, which has since become one of the most popular cultural festivals in the United States. It was the first theater in the United States in 1975, and is now one of only seven in the world to have performed all of Shakespeare’s work.
Race to the clouds

National parks
Rocky Mountains National Park
The Rocky Mountains National Park is located northwest of Boulder, Colorado. Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve
This national park 230 km south of Denver is characterized by large sand dunes that are in constant motion and form an endless sea of sand. It lies in the south of Colorado and covers an area of 88 km². Its dunes reach a height of up to 230 m, making them the tallest in the United States. The history of the park goes back as far as 12,000 years when the dunes were formed by the Rio Grandes.
Mesa Verde National Park
The park is located in southwest Colorado and includes more than 4,000 archaeological sites from the Anasazi tribes, especially the Pueblo Indians from the 6th to 14th centuries. About 600 cliff dwellings (in German rock flats) are located in the natural caves of the sandstone of the canyon walls and fascinate visitors with their well-preserved cultural remains.
