Butte, first weekend in July: The Montana Folk Festival goes into its tenth round in 2017 and inspires its visitors every year with the best that Montana has to offer. North American Indian Days
Browning, second weekend in July: The North American Indian Days is a gathering of many different American tribes, which is organized by the Blackfeet Indians. In 2016 the Powwow took place for the 65th time. Experience 4 days that focus on dance competitions, games and athletic competitions and meet members of tribes from across the United States and Canada.
Bannack State Park, third weekend in July: The life of the first pioneers is the focus of the Bannack Days. Learn how to spin wool, weave a basket or how to make wagon wheels. Enjoy the music, shoot with a black powder rifle and try your luck while panning for gold – the possibilities are almost endless. But be careful: if a gunfight breaks out on Main Street, you should take cover quickly!
