The Pudong financial district
Pudong is the new district of the Chinese metropolis Shanghai in the People’s Republic of China. The district with its approximately 2,700,000 inhabitants was only built in 1990 and is famous for its magical skyline. Pudong is an economic area, which is why it is really worth a trip for fans of modern skyscrapers, interesting buildings and architecture.
In the still young district of Pudong there are many international financial institutions, insurance companies, trading groups and numerous skyscrapers such as the 468 m high Oriental Pearl Tower, the 492 m high Shanghai World Financial Center and the 421 m high Jin Mao Tower. Along with Hong Kong, Manhattan and some parts of Tokyo and Dubai, Pudong is considered the area with the most skyscrapers per square kilometer.

The Oriental Pearl Tower is the fifth tallest tower in the world and can be viewed on different levels. The highlight of the well-known building is a glass platform that is reached by express elevators and on which you can virtually float above the city of Shanghai. The view is beautiful and unique, especially at night. In the Jin Mao Tower, tourists and locals can visit the “Cucina” restaurant on the 55th floor and enjoy the unique view with a delicious meal. For night owls who want to combine the spectacular view and enjoyment, there is also the “Cloud 9” bar, which is located on the 87th floor of the building
Hong Kong

Guilin
The prefecture-level city of Guilin is located in the Guangxi Autonomous Region and has retained some of that free spirit itself. The name of the city means “city of the scented blossom forest” and refers to the groves of osmanthus trees in the city. The city nestles picturesquely on the Lauf de Li River and is surrounded by the famous cone and karst mountains of southeast China. With a history of over 2,100 years, Guilin has, in addition to the breathtaking landscape, also many cultural attractions to offer. Several days should always be planned for a study trip to Guilin, otherwise the many beauties of the city and the surrounding area cannot be adequately appreciated.
